Police Recruit Mentorship Program
The Police Recruit Mentorship Program is designed to guide, support, and motivate recruits as they begin their journey with the LVMPD. Its purpose is to help recruits learn the ropes, build confidence, and feel connected before they even step into the academy. By engaging with them early, whether in person or over the phone, mentors provide reassurance, answer questions, and help ensure recruits feel secure in their decision to join. This program plays a key role in improving retention and supporting recruits throughout the academy experience.
